With latest announcement of CyanogenMod9, thousands of hackers and modders from throughout the world are going crazy anticipating its public release. Luckily, for those who have an Android 4.0.3 device, you can now try the new ROM. You can now download Trebuchet Launcher in its early alpha stage as it is preloaded with the ROM.

Apart from using Android 4.0.3, the other requirement you must meet is your device must be rooted too. So if you happen to own a Galaxy Nexus or a Nexus S, you can simply download the launcher. TreBuchet has been developed to appear just like a stock Android 4 launcher, however, it comes equipped with a few customizations typically not found in vanilla Android such as the following:

Separated Apps/Widgets in DrawerEnable/Disable Persistent Search BarEnable/Disable Auto-RotateShow and Fade Scrolling Indicator in Homescreen and DrawerDrawer Apps Sorting via Title or Install DateResize WidgetsCustom number of Homescreens
